The
above image is by Josephine Wall and is titled,

I chose
the image because after years of being on my own I've finally found the person I
want to give my heart and soul to.
I'm
moving in with my partner, Ant, this month. It's
a special time and a new beginning for both of
us.

Maybe
God wants us to meet a few wrong people before
we meet the right one so that when we finally
meet the right person we will know how to be
grateful.

La Vita Nuova
In that book which is
My memory . . .
On the first page
that is the chapter when
I first met you,
Appear the words . . .
Here begins a new life
- Dante Alighieri

His
heart torn apart.
His head was a shed.
His mind was quite blind,
To all that was said.
His dame was the same.
From her lips to her hips.
She'd shiver and quiver,
And all else was eclipsed.
They met on the net.
In chat and all that.
They would boast they were
close,
Well, through the mouse mat.
That night, the ice broke.
When she 'phoned him at home.
And heard the voice of her
bloke.
It turned her to jelly, the
way that he spoke.
Her voice was quite soft.
It was gentle and quiet.
Her words they did waft,
And his fears and his worry
dis'peared in mad flight.
They listened and whispered.
They breathed and they sighed.
Their souls freely bared.
It was true, they were tied.
Their minds and their souls
were bonded quite tight.
The fires of love were burning
quite bright.
They had no control o'er their
smiles of delight.
Every nerve in their bodies,
this love did excite.
They met very soon. He went to
her place.
Their eyes met and they stared
at each other's face.
Their hearts started to pound
then started to race,
As they stood on the doorstep,
locked in embrace.
It seemed like a day,
But 'twas over so quick.
He was now on his way.
They both felt quite sick.
Their love was so new,
So how could it be,
They both felt so blue
To such a degree.
Whenever they met, for a day
or a week,
Their time was so short, or so
it would seem.
The partings got worse. That
time was so bleak.
Their lives were so crazy.
They needed a scheme.
His life had been bad.
His family half dead.
He'd really been sad,
It'd messed with his head.
She'd Always been single,
A parent, but lone.
At weddings she'd tingle,
But never her own.
They'd floated along,
On a sea black and deep,
And not all that strong,
As, quite often, they'd weep.
Then, they were lifted aboard,
The Internet boat.
Their spirits restored,
They were no longer remote.
They decided quite soon,
They should be together,
And they vowed to the moon,
They would love each, forever.
And true to their word,
When the new year did start,
Her things she transferred,
To live with her sweetheart.
Together
they'd left their old worlds
behind,
And their vows to the moon,
they'd repeat.
Their lives were now one and
also their minds,
As they felt their new life
was complete.
